Located 65 meters below ground near Taganskaya Metro Station, the bunker is a remnant of the Soviet Union’s military preparedness during the tense years of the Cold War. Morning the train arriving at Kazan. After breakfast, we will get down from the train and move to the very famous Kazan Kremlin. The Kazan Kremlin is the chief historic citadel of Russia, situated in the city of Kazan. It was built at the behest of Ivan the Terrible on the ruins of the former castle of Kazan Khans. It was declared a World Heritage Site in 2000. The Kazan Kremlin consists of an outstanding group of historic buildings dating from the 16th to 19th centuries, integrating remains of earlier structures of the 10th to 16th centuries. From here we will get a panoramic view of the Volga River. Volga River, Europe’s longest river and the principal waterway of western Russia, rises in the Valdai Hills northwest of Moscow and flows 3,530 km southeastward to empty into the Caspian Sea. It is used for power production, irrigation, flood control, and transportation.
Later visit the Agricultural Palace in Kazan, Russia, is a striking architectural landmark that blends classical and contemporary design elements. Situated near the picturesque Kaban Lake, the Agricultural Palace is one of Kazan’s most iconic structures in Kazan. One of the most striking features of the palace is the 20-meter-high bronze tree located in the main archway. This magnificent tree represents the connection between nature and the noble work of farmers. At night, the tree and central dome are illuminated with green lights, while the rest of the building is bathed in white light. Later walk along the main pedestrian street of the city – Bauman Street. It’s a popular attraction and a key landmark in the city. Yekaterinburg, a city in western Russia, situated in the Ural Mountains, where Europe and Asia meet, boasts a rich historical and geological significance. Historically, Yekaterinburg is infamous for being the site where the Romanov dynasty came to an end, with the execution of Tsar Nicholas II and his family by the Bolsheviks in 1918. Tsar Nikolas II constructed the Trans-Siberian Railway to encourage migration from European areas to Siberian lands. Here we visit the Church on Blood, a stunning Orthodox church built on the site where the Romanov family was executed, the Yekaterinburg Museum of History, showcasing the city’s history, including exhibits on the Romanov dynasty and the Soviet era, and the Europe-Asia Monument, marking the boundary between Europe and Asia and other important places. The Europe - Asia Obelisk is a monument in Yekaterinburg, Russia that marks the border between the two continents. A line divides the monument so that half of it is on each side of the border. Furthermore, at the bottom of the monument are two rocks - one brought from the furthest west of Europe and the other from the furthest east of Asia. They symbolically meet on each side of this monument.
