Day 1

Arrival in Maseru

  • Your adventure begins with your arrival in Maseru, the capital city of Lesotho. After settling into your hotel, take a leisurely walk around the city. Visit the Royal Palace, the National Museum, and the historic Fort Thaba Bosiu. The day ends with a traditional Basotho dinner.

Day 2

Maseru Sightseeing

  • Spend the day exploring Maseru in depth. Visit the Mokorotlo, a traditional Basotho hat-shaped building, and the Lesotho Co-operative Handicrafts center. In the afternoon, enjoy a scenic drive to the Ha Kome Cave Village, where you can see homes carved into the rock face.

Day 3

Teyateyaneng and Liphofung Cave

Day 4

Hlotse and Leribe Plateau

Day 5

Katse Dam

Day 9

Pony Trekking in Malealea

  • Drive to Malealea Lodge, the starting point for pony trekking adventures. Spend the day riding Basotho ponies through the picturesque valleys and mountains, visiting remote villages and interacting with locals.

Day 10

Mohale's Hoek and Quthing

  • Travel to Mohale's Hoek and then to Quthing, known for its dinosaur footprints and the Masitise Cave House. Visit the sites and learn about Lesotho's geological history and ancient cultures.

Day 11

Sehlabathebe National Park

Tsehlanyane National Park

Butha-Buthe and Afriski Resort

Day 14

Departure from Maseru

  • Your Lesotho adventure concludes with a return to Maseru. Depending on your flight schedule, you may have some free time to shop for souvenirs or explore more of the city before heading to the airport for your departure.
